Mr Melvin Soh, Nanyang Technological University

Mr Soh is the Team Lead for the High Performance Computing Centre at Nanyang Technological University. He draws on his passion for High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Open-Source Technologies to enable and connect users in the scientific community with the appropriate hardware and software tools to perform complex and massive calculations on Supercomputers. In 2011, he led his team to be one of the 7 pioneering Data Centres in Singapore to achieve IMDA Green Data Centre Standard SS564:2010 certification. He has also
won numerous international recognitions from the likes of RedHat, Pure, Altair, CIO Asia for bold cutting-edge implementation of solutions for the organisation.
